good video. i get weird looks from anyone older than 30 whenever i'm in public. it's like they think i'm going to bite them or something. i'm just a normal kid who dresses a bit different, and frankly, didn't they rebel when they were my age? in the words of abbie hoffman: "We were young, we were reckless, arrogant, silly, headstrong ... and we were right! I regret nothing!"

As a 42-year-old, I find this video eloquent and promising. I personally find young people a beacon of hope that keeps from despair when seeing the malicious, paranoid, and judgmental people of my and older generations. Blessings.

Great video! But as a "Boomer", I feel that you have just stereotyped US! I hope we're not all as short-sighted as you think we are! I'm a long-time teacher, & I've found much promise & hope in all the younger generations, while still feeling proud of the changes Boomers accomplished. To prove the older negative thinkers wrong about your generation, keep posting the wonderfully eloquent & well thought-out videos . They DO give you a voice, and prove that there is great hope for the future.

My perception would be that though there are people ( I like to call them chavs) who do deserve this stereotype that elders imagine,
Although there are also many people- myself included- who don't want to kill people, or smoke, or do drugs in the slightest, but, because of our age and generation, have been sorted into an unfair sterotype.

What a testy bastard you are. When I typed in African American Punk Rockers I was just trying to put Black American Punks into other words to try and understand what the hell you were saying. It took like 5 seconds to think of that. Anyway, "punk" is used for a rebellious young person. I've also heard it used synonymously with bitch in prison. It' slang. If I am thinking in black and white it is because your type is dressing in black and white. If you don't want a negative stereo-type then don't appear as one. I know what you mean in the "all or nothing" statement, I would've mentioned that but I was two words- I think- from going over my word limit.
I know good people who act chavy for their own odd reason rather than because they want to have their skin dyed, change their accent and act like themselves- which is a contradiction, but it was all I could find for a definition of punk.
Tyrant seems to not understand that most people can be a cliche of teens and still have their own mind set and goals.
